In my earlier days, I was always involved in event creation, organizing, and planning. As Community Director at a YMCA and then General Manager of a YWCA, my focus was New Business Development. This involved lots of community marketing and fundraising. I have been on the organizing committee for the Toronto Marathon, a number of United Way and Heart and Stoke Fundraisers. The WOW factor and what I grew very passionate about was creating the special atmosphere, themed giveaways, awards and packages at these events. Connecting with sponsors and with participants. The smiles people get on their faces when given these unique advertising gifts. For the last 28 years I have been creating for companies unforgettable impressions on promotional merchandise and branded clothing that people love, want, keep and remember. Making people feel good!
